Our story
A small studio for nervous system care.
Created by a Brazilian founder in California — inspired by neuroscience, sensory experiences, and the emotional connection between people, memories, and places.
Calyra Collective began with a quiet observation: most of what we call "self-care" is performed for the eyes. We wanted to make things that quietly spoke to the body — to the parts of us that hold tension, memory, and longing.
Every piece is informed by what we know about the nervous system: that warmth, weight, scent, and texture can gently signal safety. That language — especially the kind that resists translation — can do the same.
We design slowly, in small runs, between São Paulo and California. We hope our pieces feel like an exhale.

Body first.
We design around sensation, not aesthetic alone.
Principle 02
Slow making.
Small batches, considered materials, time.
Principle 03
Felt language.
Brazilian words for the feelings we share but rarely name.
